Biography

I am a master student at the University of Chicago studying Sociology. My research interests include work and occupation, gender inequality in the workplace, and sociology of sports. Prior to studying at UChicago, I received my bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I am looking for an opportunity to study in a research master program (Please see the research proposal in “Projects”).

  • Conducted ethnographic observation over three months.
  • Came out with more than 100,000 words of field notes and interview transcripts.

  • Applied ordered logit model and latent class analysis to study the earning determinants of golf coaches.
  • Conducted interviews with around ten golf coaches and recorded conversation.
  • Wrote a 7000-word analysis report in English.
